SoMeet – Case Study Summary

SoMeet is a community-focused mobile app that helps newly moved families access essential neighborhood information with ease. Through user interviews and a human-centered design approach, I identified key pain points such as difficulty finding nearby shops, services, bus routes, market updates, and limited connection with neighbors and local authorities.

The solution delivers a clean, intuitive interface where users can:

• Discover nearby essentials like shops, hospitals, and services

• Get live bus updates and nearest bus stand maps

• Connect with neighbors via direct messaging

• Access SOS emergency contacts instantly

• Receive updates from local officials on power, water, and safety

SoMeet simplifies daily life by bringing community connection and essential information into one accessible platform.
